A thorough learning and development program has been implemented to ensure that our employees satisfy the behavioral, technical, and leadership needs of the organization. Learning approaches such as classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and social learning are employed to meet the different requirements of the participants. At UCL, a comprehensive learning and development program has been designed with the purpose of fostering a pleasant working environment for everyone. As soon as a new person begins working for the firm, they are thrown into the deep end of the learning curve.
Participants in training programs designed to improve the abilities and talents of United Costume Limited’s employees and workers have been identified. We provide a number of company-related training options to our employees, including the following:
Fire, health, and safety training, as well as quality training and examination, are all available to those in mid-level management positions.
The protection of the health and safety of all UCL personnel is a top priority for the organization. The ability to operate at the greatest degree of safety is essential for efficient operation. We have handled our occupational health and safety (OHS) activities in compliance with local and international standards since the beginning of our operations. Taking a proactive approach to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment that encourages our workers to live an active lifestyle is important to us. A combined management Health Safety Committee with equal worker involvement oversees the company’s safety programs, with the underlying philosophy being that integrating workers on the production floor develops ownership and results in fewer safety breaches.
Through the implementation of an enterprise-wide risk management strategy, United Costume Limited has also set measures in place to avoid the entrance of non-manifest goods into outbound shipments (i.e. explosives, firearms, drugs, bio-hazards and other contrabands). Provision of supply chain security policies and processes, as well as the maintenance and implementation of sufficient security measures, will aid in the prevention of the introduction of non-manifested goods into outgoing shipments. In order to establish that a manufacturing facility has proper security measures in place, each facility must have documented security processes. Our social code of conduct aspires to adhere to internationally recognized social and environmental standards in accordance with the Amfori BSCI, International Labor Organization conventions, SEDEX COC Standards, the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and United Nations conventions on the rights of children and the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women, among other things.

In order to ensure environmental protection in the process of utilizing raw materials, manufacturing products, and discharging waste, United Costume Limited (UCL) is committed to complying with all relevant/applicable environmental legislation of the Bangladesh government. The company will follow the guidelines and standard methods of various aspects of environmental conservation as well as the rules of the relevant regulatory bodies in order to ensure environmental protection. Additionally, in order to guarantee that we are implementing sustainable practices at each and every level of our supply chain, we provide our employees with extensive training. Our employees are representatives of our firm, which implies that their sustainability activities will be representative of our organization’s sustainability practices as well.
It is not enough to just identify community investment objectives in order to be successful. Workers, customers, and other interested parties in the social issue can benefit from a range of information on the topic that is offered through reputable white papers, films, tales, and social media platforms. The company’s leadership and investors, who are interested in the program’s influence on profit and/or public reputation, get a report once a year. The success of the treatment, as well as any favorable side effects, are discussed in length in the report. UCL makes measures to ensure that its employees are actively involved and engaged. In addition to increasing employee retention, a strong corporate social responsibility program may foster a genuine sense of community inside the organization.
